why does it say actual dimensions 79� by 33�?

That would be 2 square yards or 18 square feet. The Striato sheet goods (and all forbo sheet goods) all come 79" wide by whatever length to a create a full square yard. So that's the size you would be sent.You can trim these to fit your job using a straight edge, utility knife, and/or a hooked blade knife.
