I would love to put Marmoleum click squares in my bathroom. The current floor has two layers of sheet vinyl over plywood underlayment. Can the Marmoleum be installed over two layers of vinyl? If not, and I remove the vinyl, there will likely be glue left on the plywood. How smooth does the underlayment need to be? In other words would I have to remove all glue from the plywood to get a smooth enough surface to install the Marmoleum tiles?

Marmoleum Click Cinch Loc can be applied directly over two layers of sheet vinyl. There is no need to remove the vinyl. Make sure the surface is as flat and smooth as possible and fill any cracks or missing pieces of vinyl.
