This is shedding like crazy. I ended up covered in it just getting it in my home. Any suggestions how to mitigate this?

Yes, this product definitely sheds. It is 100% all-natural felted wool and is intended strictly for use as an underlay for wall to wall carpet and should be installed as such. This way, it remains always covered by the wall-to-wall carpet over top and any shedding fibers are not an issue once installed.
