Yes, they do. This method from EcoStar is Dade-county approved for 110 mph wind.
1) Use 4 nails instead of 2
2) Use Dow 790 caulk underneath the leading edge (not in the gaps between tiles)
3) Use 6-in exposure to minimize windage
4) Be sure to bend tile according to instructions prior to installation.
5) Another option is to use Empire Slate, as its somewhat stiffer than Majestic Slate. There are also 3 colors that are designed to reflect radiant heat which creates a cooler roof.
When calculating prices for Majestic slate, use 8 bundles per square for the gray colors. For Empire slate use 10 bundles per square for gray colors. Once we know the total # of bundles, we can come up with a shipping cost for you.
