All of the caulking and sealants made by AFM SAfecoat and Chemlink are non-toxic and complaint to California standards such as: CARB and SCAQMD Proposition 65 USDA Requirements for Non-food Contact OTC Rule for Sealants The best product for sealing rim joists would be our M-1 which is a structural sealant.
