I bought clear ChemLink general purpose sealant for my bathroom to caulk between the wall and the bathtub, but I am wondering if it is really translucent because I don't want to see the crack between tile wall and bathtub. is there a version of this that is white? I want something that will last, not mold/mildew, and not smell (be as least toxic as possible).

Chemlink Clear really will be clear when applied. For sealing in a bathroom, we recommend Chemlink's DuraSil in white. This product was designed for commercial and industrial roofing in northern climates, so it should hold up fine in your bathtub area. There is very little smell when wet and virtually none when fully cured. It's a non-toxic sealant, containing no formaldehyde or solvents. Regarding mold and mildew--there are no chemicals added to make Durasil anti-mold, because such chemicals are toxic. Most of our customers don't want pesticides leaching into their bath water.
