I am installing terracotta floor tiles - is this an appropriate adhesive to use for this purpose? Or is there a better choice for this? Thank you!

Thinset mortar is what is generally used for installing any type of floor tile. The 3 in 1 can be used for smaller projects, if desired, but is generally too expensive compared to traditional thinkset. There is nothing harmful about thinset mortar except the crystalline silicates which are a respiratory hazard only during mixing. It is considered an occupational hazard but not a consumer hazard as the exposure is very limited and as soon as it is mixed in the bucked, there is no exposure.
