What is the best way to remove a stain made by leaving a potted plant with a terra cotta saucer under it? The saucer was not moisture proof and we now have have two dark stains where the pots were sitting. Probably water stains or a mix of water and mildew. On the advice of the Forbo website we have used straight concentrate Marmoleum cleaner and left it on for 2 min. This helped some but did not remove all of the discoloration. Has anyone been successful with another method?

Try using a nylon scrub pad and work it into the surface. A good scrubbing usually removes all stains. If you don't have these, check out our website for the white or green pads.
