I am on a municipal water system, and I would like to be able to filter and drink the water, however, I am wondering how long this filter can possibly last removing the typical chlorine out of the water? It seems like the strong points of the filter are removing microbes, contaminants, etc., but when removing chemicals on a daily/weekly basis, what would prevent this filter from not filling up like a typical carbon based filter? If i can't last long doing the aforementioned, then it would not be any more cost effective using it for that purpose. Please advise Thank you.

Yes, the ceramic filters remove chlorine compounds and can be cleaned up to 100 times and will produce thousands of gallons.
