Should we use a vapor barrier along with the cork underlayment when installing Wood Wise over concrete? For our current basement remodel, we are seriously considering the Wood Wise flooring option by Amorim. This will be going over a concrete floor (still need to conduct a moisture test). The manufacturer states only a 6 or 8 mil vapor barrier is required as an underlayment, but we won't void the warranty with a 2 mm cork underlayment. Since this project is over concrete, should we install a vapor barrier in addition to the cork underlayment.

Yes, the vapor barrier is required when installing over cement. Adding cork underlayment over the top of that vapor barrier is optional.
