Does this carpet come with some kind of binding on the edges of the full width? Does it need a pad underneath and if so what do you recommend?

If you are having it installed as wall-to-wall carpet, you will indeed need the J Mish, Natural Performance Wool Cushion (for a pad). If you are just wanting a custom-sized area rug made (which would have the bound edges), you will need to call 641-323-6111 for a custom area rug quote.
