I read that this carpet was �moth-proof�. How is this possible without insecticides?

Please share where you've seen that the carpet is listed as moth proof on our website. If you did see it, it was not intended or correct. EarthWeave takes pride in the fact that they use no additives to prevent moths. The best prevention against moth larvae eating wool carpet is with regular vacuuming; especially when moths lay their eggs in the Fall and they hatch in the Spring. Be sure to vacuum under couches and in dark areas such as closets. Just a few deep cleanings each year is all it takes.
