What kind of adhesives would stick to this? I see that you can use thinset and tile over, but we are using a stone veneer product for our shower walls and need to glue it up. A two part epoxy adhesive is what is recommended by the manufacturer of the veneer. Would an epoxy based adhesive adhere to this product?

In this situation, we would not recommend using DynoSeal. We would recommend the following steps.First use Thinset, then put Schluter-KERDI onto the Thinset.Schluter-KERDI is a waterproofing membrane for tile and stone. You could then use the epoxy-based adhesive to attach your stone veneer.
