If you are using Marmoleum linoleum on stairs, it is best to use the glue down sheet goods. The Cinch Loc can be a tripping hazard, as you'll be having a 3/8 inch "edge" on each step from it, and also you'll then have a very unfinished edge standing out. Using the glue down, it won't be a trip hazard and you won't have a big, open edge to contend with.
