What do you mean by curb mounted? Do I need to create a curb on my flat roof or does it come with a kit?

Curb mounting is for uneven roofing like concrete, clay tile, and metal. That's because the unit must sit flat on the roof and without a curb, it is not possible. A curb is simply built with 2x4's in the form of a box and the attic fan is placed on top.
