The best coating for the black matte paint would be our AFM Polyureseal BP. This will provide excellent adhesion, abrasion and water resistance. Nothing else will work as well. This has apx. 125 g/l of VOC and has low odor which dissipates within 2-3 days assuming normal temps and humidity. Add good ventilation and heat and it could dry faster. It is a non-toxic product and emits no hazardous air pollutants. We recommend at least three coats. Don't rush it. Don't put it on thick. Let it dry 6-8 hours in between coats. Do not use the WaterShield for this application.
