Do you need to add underlayment or is the underlayment built into this?

Kahrs Avanti Ground is a long wide plank of hardwood that requires an underlayment and vapor barrier over every type of subfloor whether it is installed below, at or above grade. You can use our Moisture Block (vapor barrier) and cork or other types (underlayment). The best way is to use our QuietWalk Plus which is a vapor barrier and underlayment all in one roll. Faster installation, less expensive and it performs better.
