Yes. If there are multiple coats, it may take two applications. Make sure you use enough product and wait long enough for it to work. Some people put on too thin or don't wait long enough. It works within 30min to 1 1/2 hours and turns the paint into a mush so it becomes easy to clean off. When done, use the 700DG to clean and degrease.
