M1 is compatible with many acrylic coatings, depending on the application. If you are using the acrylic over M1, allow M1 to cure 24 hours prior to coating. But if you are applying M1 over an existing acrylic coating, you should perform a peel (adhesion) test to make sure the coating has an acceptable bond to the substrate prior to any repairs made using M1.
