How will the elasticity and adhesion perform, as opposed to urethane such as Sikaflex1A when being used to air seal exterior stud bays prior to batt insulation?

We do not have test results for how this might compare to Sikaflex1A. AFM Safecoat caulking compound is a multi-purpose, moisture cure, construction sealant specially formulated for application in damp, dry and cold conditions. It is UV resistant and will not suntan. AFM Caulking Compound is designed for use with many building materials including concrete, glass, metal and most roofing materials. It seals expansion joints, flashings, windows, doors, and roofing joints. It also is isocyanate free, paintable and is capable of � 35% joint movement.
