Per the Technical Data Sheet Overview (direct link below), this caulk has a service range between -40�F to 200�F. Which can look pretty narrow if you know the interior of your fireplace can get above 1,000 degrees. We would advise you carefully measure where you are planning to caulk to make sure you are within acceptable ranges.
