The 5G Dry system prevents water from getting between the planks. Plus the core of this product is super dense and virtually impervious to water. That said, waterproof flooring is NOT flood proof flooring. If you have standing water from a burst pipe, that moisture can find its way past the floor and into your subfloor via other means.
