Is this recommended for black asbestos mastic removal? Do you wipe off or scrap off?

We would suggest the 500 MR. This is made specifically as a Mastic Remover when applied over concrete subfloors. After the mastic has softened to the point that it is easily removed, simply scrape it off with an ice scraper or squeegee. There will be some remaining stains in the concrete. Most of that can be removed with their 700DG Emerge cleaner/degreaser. Please do not use a grinder as that will throw asbestos dust into the air which is a respiratory hazard.
