Hi, would this work for installing commercial carpet tiles on a concrete basement floor? The tiles are rubber backed. The basement is in a raised ranch so partly below ground but not wet. Would leveling compound need to be used first? I am looking for a low VOC and odorless (as much possible) adhesive since I am highly sensitive to chemical smells. Thank you.

AFM Safecoat 3-in-1 Adhesive was designed for carpet where typical carpet adhesives would be used. It is a very low VOC and has no odor when dry. It is very easy to trowel on the back of a tile and/or the concrete floor.Due to the variety of different types of carpet backing, we recommend testing first on one tile to make sure it bonds well to the backing and the floor. If this product is not strong enough, our AFM Almighty Adhesive certainly will be. This is a construction adhesive that comes in a 10oz caulking tube.Re: floor levelingA leveling compound may be required, so please follow the carpet manufacturers instructions for subfloor requirements.
