I purchased this last March and only used a little of it. Is it still good to use or do I need to throw it out?

The shelf life for Rubio Wood Filler Putty is 12 months unopened and unmixed. If it is opened but not mixed, the shelf life is probably similar to unopened if you put in a ziplock or something to keep moisture out. But there has been no testing to know for sure. If it is mixed, you need to use it right away or it will start to set.
