I would like to use cork underlayment under a large oriental rug. The current OSB floor is very cold and I'd like to line the entire floor with cork. Some areas around the perimeter of the room will not be covered by the rug. Will this roll product be appropriate?

Cork naturally does provide thermal assistance and may help underneath the rug. We would not suggest using cork underlayment as a product to directly walk on top of due to its lack of finish or durability. This underlayment product was only intended to go beneath your hardwood, bamboo or cork flooring.
