The GBS Waterproof Hardwood employs a UV cured Acrylic Urethane finish. It is not biodegradable. Usually by the time a floor has reached the end of its useful life, most of the finish has already worn off.If you prefer a floor with a 100% biodegradable finish, take a look at our Kahrs hardwood flooring as several collections such as Founders, Smaland and Texture.
