The prop 65 warnings are in place for prolonged exposer ( jobsite day after day) the warning on the Kahrs flooring is put on the older floors for the saw dust that will be present when cutting the flooring. From Prop 65 website (Wood dust is on the Proposition 65 list because it can cause cancer.Exposure to wood dust in significant amounts on a recurring basis can cause cancers of the nose, throat, and sinuses.Proposition 65 requires businesses to determine if they must provide a warning about exposure to listed chemicals.) All of the floors we sell are no toxic, the warning on some of them and not all is based on the last sentence from the prop 65 website.
