Can Earthweave pad and carpet be installed directly over an above grade slab? Do I need to consider a moisture barrier to install natural material over a slab?

Yes, it can be applied directly over the concrete subfloor above grade. If the subfloor is over an unheated crawlspace or unheated basement, then we would recommend a vapor barrier (Moisture Block) or a waterproofing sealer (GBS Penetrating concrete sealer) applied to the concrete subfloor.
