Both are all wood but there are differences. Kahrs Avanti Tres is a 3 layered engineered floor 13mm (1/2") thick with European Maple on top (2mm), and pine/spruce in the core and base. Viewed from the top side, there are three 2 1/4" wide strips on each plank (7 3/4" wide x 95" long ) so it gives the appearance of a strip flooring. The Kahrs LIFE product is also 3 layered 1/4" thick overall with a thin oak wood veneer on top and a super high density fiberboard core and wood backing. The appearance is one wide strip on one 4 5/8" wide x 48" long plank. This product has the best moisture resistance. https://www.greenbuildingsupply.com/search?search_query=Kahrs+lifeBoth are click together floating floors that require a vapor barrier and underlayment beneath them.
