how soon after a new concrete foundation poured can the CaCl2 kit be used? if I seal the slab with a curing compound, do i still need to perform the test?

Sealers are effective at reducing vapor emissions but each works differently. Depending on how porous the surface is, how humid the air is and how much sealer was applied, it could take days or weeks for the sealer to fully cure. Therefore, it's best to wait until you think it is completely cured before testing; otherwise the results may not properly reflect the actual quantity of vapor emissions.
