Hi! I recently lime washed my stone fireplace. We love the way it looks, but are now thinking the previous owners mustve stained the stone because the limewash is still pretty dusty and not entirely calcified. Will this product work to seal the lime washed stone?

We spoke to the manufacturer about your question, and they raised the concern that the alkalinity on the stones would be too high (anything over 10pH) to get a good seal. We do sell samples if you would like to test, but otherwise we have no recommendations for you until the alkalinity goes down.
