It is possible to order custom sizes of area rugs, however, it is more often than not, not financially reasonable to order such. You would pay for for all of excess material that was cut off the roll to make your carpet. For example if your runner is for a 3' wide x 15' long and the carpet comes 12'wide, you'll still pay for all 12' wide of the material even though you only need 3' wide.
