Yes, this will add some sound deadening and cushioning. Don't expect a lot as it is only 3/8" thick but it will certainly help.
Can this product be used under a large area rug? I'm looking for something that will add sound proofing and cushioning but will not off gas like the more standard synthetic under pads, and hoping this might work. Thanks for any info!
