Are you talking about "two-strip" and "three-strip" ("two row" and "three row" are not on the product page)?Three-strip is when the width of a single board is visually split into three, making it appear to be many more boards than it actually is. Two-strip is the width of a single board that is visually split into two. One strip is one board, also sometimes just called plank flooring. Installing a multi-strip floor is great for use in smaller rooms, as it creates a sense of space, making the room feel much larger than it is.
