Can AFM Safecoat Almighty Adhesive be used to install quartz countertops? If not, what adhesive for this purpose would you recommend that is non-toxic and zero VOC?

Hello Michelle, Thank You for your question. The AFM SafeCoat Almighty Adhesive is a serious construction adhesive. If applied, you will never get your countertop off without destroying your cabinets. It is way overkill. However, if your contractors insist on it, ask them to use just a few dabs in the corners and every few feet.Our fabricators recommend using some clear caulking under the lip of the countertop right up against the face frame of the cabinet. Our Chemlink CLEAR will work perfectly for this purpose.Quartz countertops are so heavy and they are up against the wall so, actually very little is needed to hold them in place.
