Can the tiles be cut to custom sizes? (At home- without compromising structure?) Looking to duplicate a vintage pattern but would need smaller squares.

I have seen pictures where people cut it, oh so carefully, and create a pattern. But I would imagine you'll need to be patient and slow with the cutting because there's no room for error. I'd suggest you order some samples and see what this product is like to work with, cutting, joining, etc.
