I am having carpeting on the stairs with two landings. How is the padding sold. Does it have to be cut by the installer to fit the amount of padding needed for each stair and the landings?

Carpet pad is sold in full rolls so the installer would cut it to fit your stairs and landings. We carry three brands, all of which are almost identical except for the roll sizes. The Nature's Carpet Pad is 184.5 square feet, the Earth Weave Enertia pad is 225 square feet and the J Mish Natural Performance Wool Cushion is 135 square feet. The first two must ship via freight and will be more expensive to ship than the J Mish which is small enough to ship via UPS ground.
