As color choice is entirely subjective, we cannot speak to that. You need to choose your own color. I have confirmed with Rubio Monocoat that the Oil Plus 2C should work fine over your spalted sycamore.
I want to use this on a slab of spalted sycamore to sit houseplants on near a window. What color would enhance the spalted areas? Rubio Oil Plus 2C, Part A Gulf Synthetics
