Is his product effective for cleaning exterior cedar siding prior to resealing? some of the siding may have had shellac and or Penofin oil applied

This product is an alternative for turpentine which can remove tar, grease and oil. It is meant to be a cleaner rather than be a stripper. We suggest ordering a sample and testing it first. You may need to sand in order to receive the best results of your new sealer.
