To what extent do the colors change with exposure to light�and are the samples in the sample kit �mature� in this regard? I'm looking at a photo on this website of a checkerboard kitchen floor made from Caribbean and Barbados and I want exactly that look�but unlike that photo, the 1-1/2 inch samples in Forbo�s sample books show these as almost identical tones.

Caribbean and Barbados are indeed quite close in color. The way they look on the samples in person are how they come. (This is why we ALWAYS advise people to see samples in person, computer monitors can show things different than real life)
