I ordered samples and love this carpet. When I showed my installer he said it would not work on stairs (I think he said it was due to the thick backing). Can this be installed on stairs? Is there any special consideration for stair application? I can find another installer if needed. Thanks!

It's not clear why you were told otherwise as it is used all the time. Our carpet installer was in our showroom and I asked him the same question and he looked at it, felt it and said there would be no problem installing it on stairs.
