Hi, I'm staining my concrete floors in my basement. I have fixed some small cracks w something called quick Crete. Then sanded them down, next I will stain. Is this an appropriate sealer given I am staining and repairing the concrete first? The concrete is fairly smooth, I would like the floor to be waterproof and to protect my floors while giving a nice light sheen. Is this the right product? If not what would you recommend? Thank you

The Penetrating Gloss Sealer is to be used on it's own, not in combination with another product. If your using a water based stain, it is possible the AFM SafeCoat EXT Exterior Polyureseal might work as a sealer for you. You'd need to perform a test to see if it will bond to the stain that you have. For testing purposes, we have sample sizes for purchase at $9.95 so you can test for compatibility.
