Is this floor solid hardwood or engineered? It is described as solid hardwood but later in the description it says "Less expensive than solid hardwood floors".

It is engineered. We refer to it as Hardwood but never as solid hardwood. "These floors are constructed using the K�hrs patented parquet multi-layer technology, with three separate layers and a total thickness of 5/8� (15 mm). The surface layer is 1/8� (3.5 mm) thick, allowing K�hrs Original floors to be sanded two to three times � and allowing several generations to enjoy this beautiful floor."
