No, Silicone Vapor Shield is for use over plywood or OSB.We recommend putting a vapor barrier between your 1/4-inch cork underlayment and the concrete, such as Moisture Block or Quietwalk. Then install your engineered hardwood flooring on top of the cork underlayment.
