EcoStar Majestic Niagara Slate is a sustainable material made of 25% post industrial recycled content. This includes rubber from automobile dashboards and seats (not tires) as well as plastic from pre-consumer baby diapers. Other plastics may be utilized from time to time which makes it difficult to give exact information about the content. There is a very slight rubber smell when brand new, but this dissipates quickly after exposure to the natural elements outdoors.
