Can I use this to glue a vinyl reducer down to a concrete subfloor? It would be within the expansion gap, so the joint movement of this product would make it a better choice than the almighty adhesive, as long as it would hold up in this application!

No...Almighty Adhesive will adhere to vinyl. AFM Caulking Compound will not.
