Please call to arrange with a GBS eco-advisor. 888.727.2101M-1 is a versatile construction adhesive and sealant for interior or exterior use. Made for industrial roofing, it can be applied in damp, dry, and cold climates down to 30 ยฐF. It won't discolor with UV light and is capable of joint movement in excess of 35% in both compression and extension. M-1 has a 20-minute skin-over time, is paintable after 24 hours, is non-toxic and has very low odor (16.9 g/l VOC)!

This is truly a heavy-duty adhesive/sealant and is a suitable replacement for Liquid Nails or Almighty Adhesive. Chemlink's M-1 bonds well to most construction materials including EPDM, SBS mod bit, aluminum, galvanized metal, PVC, glass, stainless steel, fiberglass, FRP, wood, EIFS, block, brick, EPS foam, concrete and stone.
M-1 is very similar to Chemlink Novalink, an all-weather construction sealant. M-1 has lower viscosity, shorter skin-over time, higher shear strength and bonds to a few more materials. M-1 is perfect for more heavy-duty jobs. It's really a structural adhesive as well as a sealant.
NOTE: Use only rubbing alcohol to smooth out. Do not use water or mineral spirts.
NOTE: For TPO roofing, TPO primer must be used first.
NOTE: ChemLink products do not adhere to polyethylene or polypropylene (recycled plastics)

Surface or product Preparation
Surface should be clean, dry and free from all contamination including: dirt, oils, grease, tar, wax, rust and any other substance that may inhibit the sealants performance. DO NOT use petroleum solvents such as mineral spirits or xylene to clean your surface before using this product. Instead, remove all dirt, oil, loose paint, frost and other contaminates with alcohol. Horizontal applications will require tooling. Allow treated wood to cure for six months prior to application. Do not use in areas subject to continuous immersion of water or chemicals. Do not use on TPO without Chemlink TPO Primer.
