Please call to arrange with a GBS eco-advisor. 888.727.2101ECOS Drywall Spackle (also known as ECOS Interior Filler powder) is a non-toxic replacement for typical spackling compound which should be used indoors only. This multi-purpose filler powder is designed for filling small or large cracks, small holes, and small joints in drywall or sheetrock. This is not a substitute for joint compound. It has no odor and contains no hazardous air pollutants. It is extremely easy to use.
This product is not intended to repair wood or plaster. For that, use our Rubio Monocoat Wood Filler. For cracks in stucco, concrete, or cement plaster use our Chemlink M-1.
Simply mix with water, then fill, sand, spot prime, let dry, and then prime and paint. Spot priming first helps seal the powder and evens out the appearance. The powder mixes to a smooth consistency and spreads easily. Fill the nail holes, screw holes, cracks, gouges, etc, let dry, then sand smooth. Spot Prime with our ECOS Universal Primer or, ECOS Wall Primer let dry, then prime again, let dry, then paint. Easy peasy.

Surface or Product Preparation
Ensure crack or hole is dry and free from loose or dusty material. Touch up any nails and screw heads with two-coats of ECOS Universal Primer, to avoid rust staining. WARNING: Older buildings may contain lead-based paint, which requires professional remediation if it is disturbed.

Application Instructions
Mix 2 parts Filler with 1 part water (approx) to a smooth paste. The filler is ready for use in about one minute and remains workable for more than 20 minutes. Press filler paste into hole with a filling knife/trowel. Fill the hole slightly proud. Sand, when fully dry, to a smooth flat surface and brush/wipe free of dust. Special easy sand formula! Normally sets fully in around 1 to 2 hours. Before painting, seal with one coat of ECOS Universal Primer and allow to dry fully. Clean bowl and tools with warm water. Do not wash excess material into drains, but allow to dry on paper, then dispose of as household trash.
