Bioshield, Primer Oil
| Colors: | | |
Non-toxic penetrating-oil primer and sealer
Primer oils are designed to penetrate deeply and provide a foundation for more viscous oils and waxes. Unlike typical penetrating oils, Bioshield Primer Oil contains no solvents to thin them and no dryers to speed up the natural process of curing.
Bioshield Primer Oil is a wood primer and sealer that creates an elastic, breathable, wood-grain enhancing surface. It has a mild odor, applies easily, is economical and has superior water-resistant qualities. It's similar to Bioshield Herbal Oil, but is not food-grade.
Bioshield Primer Oil is for all absorbent surfaces such as most unsealed, new or weathered wood, and especially hardwood. It also works well as a sealer for slate, stone and concrete.
NOTE: This Primer Oil must be followed with other oils for the finish coat. After priming, finish with Bioshield Resin Floor Finish, Bioshield Hard Oil or Bioshield Floor and Furniture Hardwax.
Why we like it
This is a very thin primer-type oil that penetrates deeply into the grain of almost any dry wood. Oils from other manufacturers usually sit on the surface and don't penetrate as well as this product.
